Rattle Time

A close-up of the finished rattle!
I decided to make a rattle for my little brother because he loves to chew on things and he loves making noise. I already made him a rattle but it was a little heavy. I wanted to make him one that would be very loud and easy to hold. It did take some time to make and it defiantly took time to get used to the noise but in the end it was all worth it because he loves it so much and screams when I take it away. It just gives me so much pleasure to see that I made him so happy. My step-mom, the author of Crafty Mom 101, is at home alone with the baby all day long and he gets bored so quickly that he is always needing knew toy's.

The materials: stickers, rocks or marbles, and a plastic bottle.
If you want to make this at home then all you need is an empty water bottle, some stickers, and three marbles or rocks. What you need to do is put your rocks or marbles into the bottle. If you use marbles the noise that it makes will be much softer and quieter. If you use rocks then the noise that it makes will be louder and stronger. After you put in the marbles or rocks then one at a time put the stickers inside of the bottle and after each one you have to shake it to get the stickers to stick to the side. After you do that make sure that you close the lid really tight and you have a toy for your little one.

   IT'S BABY APPROVED!
