Rattle Time

A close-up of the finished rattle!
I decided to make a rattle for my little brother because he loves to chew on things and he loves making noise. I already made him a rattle but it was a little heavy. I wanted to make him one that would be very loud and easy to hold. It did take some time to make and it defiantly took time to get used to the noise but in the end it was all worth it because he loves it so much and screams when I take it away. It just gives me so much pleasure to see that I made him so happy. My step-mom, the author of Crafty Mom 101, is at home alone with the baby all day long and he gets bored so quickly that he is always needing knew toy's.

A Welcome from my Step-Mom

The kids and I posing for my profile photo on Crafty Mom 101.
Hello everyone! My name is Jenn and I'm Jersey's step-mom. I'm really lucky to have this girl in my life, not only because she's a stellar student and a giving sister to her brothers, but also because she's a bundle of creative fire! As the author of a craft and parenting blog, I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to see Jersey get excited about sharing her creativity with the rest of the world! She's a bright girl with some really wonderful ideas, and though I've begged her to share them all on my blog, she insists on doing things her own way in her own style. So here you are, ladies and gentlemen - a blog for all big siblings, mothers, fathers and families at large! Your guide to making fun toys with the things you already have laying around as well as your inspiration to being a better big brother/sister: Homemade Baby Toys!
